Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant position for full-time night shift in a licensed assisted living setting. Responsibilities include providing direct resident care, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring and recording vital signs and weights, documenting nursing care and routine charting, assisting with meals, and participating in resident care planning. Requires MO or KS CNA certification as appropriate, CPR preferred, valid driver’s license, strong time-management and multitasking abilities, ability to work independently, and ability to communicate effectively. Schedule includes rotating nights and weekends; environment includes exposure to infectious diseases and the need to follow safety regulations. Post-offer background check and medical screening required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (education as stated)
- MO CNA certification required if working in MO; KS CNA and Home Health aide certification required if working in KS
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures
- Ability to write simple sentences and perform basic documentation
- Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups
- Ability to perform arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
