Job Summary
Answer call lights to assess residents' needs and assist with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming. Provide toileting assistance, turn residents for repositioning, and transport clients for meals and activities. Record vital signs, intake/output, and mood assessments while issuing supplies as needed. Monitor residents for behavioral changes, report significant shifts to licensed staff, and supervise assigned clients. Maintain facility cleanliness, manage laundry, and facilitate socialization during unscheduled periods. Adhere to work schedules, complete mandatory training, and participate in emergency drills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Proficiency in using a computer, which may include using such software as Vision or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and other applicable software applications
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
