Job Summary
Part-time CNA adjunct faculty at Ivy Tech Community College (Indiana) responsible for delivering didactic CNA instruction, developing/maintaining course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials, and maintaining accurate student records and grades. Will engage students through effective instructional methods, utilize technology to enhance learning, comply with FERPA and college policies, and ensure safety in classrooms and labs. Requires RN or LPN licensure in Indiana, with a minimum of one year of licensed nursing experience, completion of Indiana Department of Health Train-the-Trainer, and either adult learning theory training or a Workplace Specialist License in Health Science. Includes duties such as developing active teaching strategies, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting student success. Required Qualifications
- Is a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed and in good standing in the State of Indiana
- Has a minimum of one year of licensed nursing experience
- Has completed Indiana Department of Health Train-the-Trainer
- Has completed the required state training session including adult learning theory OR Holds a current Workplace Specialist License granted by the Indiana Department of Education in any Health Science
