Job Summary
Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives for the HLHS 107 CNA Preparation weekend cohort. Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and tests while making optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements, ensuring compliance with FERPA and emergency safety procedures. Engage with students in meaningful ways that impact learning and lead to a positive experience at Ivy Tech Community College.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed and in good standing in the State of Indiana
- Minimum of one year of licensed nursing experience
- Completed Indiana Department of Health Train-the-Trainer
- Completed the required state training session including adult learning theory
- Holds a current Workplace Specialist License granted by the Indiana Department of Education in any Health Science
- Licensed nurse holding an unencumbered license in the state of Indiana
- Weekend cohort availability
