Job Summary
Provide end-of-life care with dignity and compassion to patients and their families, serving as the eyes and ears of the interdisciplinary team. Assist in bedside moments during patient transitions and support loved ones cherishing these memories. Maintain active state certification and one year of hospice or nursing aide experience while utilizing electronic clinical records. Travel to the office in Green, OH daily from 8:00 pm to 8:30 am Sunday through Tuesday. Required Qualifications
- Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
- Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
- 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required
- Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors
- Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization
- Must have reliable vehicle/transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have required automobile insurance
- Must have the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle
- Travel to the office in Green, OH is required
