Job Summary
Engage with residents personally while assisting them with activities of daily living, hygiene, healthcare, and comfort throughout their day. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for residents and collaborate with therapy and nursing teams to prepare residents for sessions and monitor care. Encourage participation in social programs and lifestyle activities to support wellness, while recognizing and documenting changes in resident condition to report to the supervisor. Organize tasks daily to carry out responsibilities effectively. This Certified Nursing Assistant role offers a 3pm-11pm full-time shift in Hershey, Pa., with pay ranging from $18.25 to $22/hour plus shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and in good standing in the state of MD
- 18 years of age or older
- Personal style that is dependable, kind, sympathetic and respectful and demonstrates good judgment concerning the rights and dignity of others
- Professional appearance and conduct toward residents, families and team
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
- Must be comfortable working in pet-friendly environment
- Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
