CNA 2 West, 36hours/week, Days

Certified Nursing Assistant on 2 West (Med/Surg) at Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, 36 hours/week on the day shift (6:45am-7:15pm). Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Performs basic patient care activities, assists patients with meeting emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, greets patients and visitors, answers and routes calls, reports abnormal findings to nursing staff, and helps keep the unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly. Requires a valid Maine CNA certificate and excellent communication skills. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
