Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Measure and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and aid in transferring and positioning patients to prevent falls. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and participate in the Respiratory Protection Program. Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Work 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care
