Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Measure and record vital signs; promptly report any changes to nursing staff. Aid in transferring and positioning patients to prevent falls and injuries while maintaining a clean, safe environment through infection control protocols. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, communicating effectively with families and the healthcare team. Participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include wearing a respirator. Work 0.6 FTE (2x12's/week) under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures
- Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
