Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Measure and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and aid in transferring or positioning patients to prevent falls. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and participate in the Respiratory Protection Program. Provide emotional support and companionship while communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Work as an integral member of the patient care team under RN supervision, reporting to nursing supervisors for additional assigned tasks. This union position requires current CNA certification and BLS, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care
