Job Summary
Nursing Assistant (NA) provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in long-term care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), monitoring and recording vital signs, assisting with transfers and mobility, providing meals and dining support, documenting resident interactions, ensuring infection prevention and PPE use, and supporting psychosocial needs. The role also involves housekeeping tasks and participation in wellness activities, with opportunities for advancement and continuing education. Requires CNA certification and HS diploma (or GED) with prior long-term care experience preferred; position is part-time with evening shifts in Minnesota, union-affiliated, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and various benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active MN CNA required at the time of hire
- CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA status within four months of date into the position
- Satisfactorily completes yearly competency testing and continuing education credits as required
- Possession of CNA training and certification provided by facility
Desired Qualifications
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
