Job Summary
Assist with instruction for didactic, psychomotor, clinical, and laboratory components of CMTI-accredited Paramedic programs across Massachusetts. Prepare and deliver lectures, supervise students during classroom and simulation activities, and conduct case reviews in the lab or off-site locations. Operate audiovisual and simulation equipment while evaluating student performance and providing feedback to the Program Director or Instructor/Coordinator. Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required. This hourly position supports the Instructor/Coordinator in delivering EMS courses to students throughout the state.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Massachusetts Paramedic (EMT-P) certification
- Good standing with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services
- Valid driver's license
- Current Massachusetts and National Registry certification as a Paramedic (EMT-P)
- Experience as an EMS educator, Field Training Officer (FTO), preceptor, or other relevant EMS educational experience
Desired Qualifications
- Massachusetts Paramedic Instructor/Coordinator certification
- Experience with EMS education standards and/or certification as an instructor for CPR, PHTLS, AMLS, ACLS, or PALS
