Job Summary
Assist with instruction for didactic, psychomotor, and lab programs for CMTI accredited EMT courses across Massachusetts. Prepare and deliver lectures and lab tasks under supervision from the Program Director or Instructor/Coordinator while supervising student activities during instructional time. Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and conduct case review sessions in the Sim Lab, classroom, or off-site. Operate program AV equipment and SIM Lab facilities. Participate in professional development programs and attend staff meetings as needed. Adhere to CMTI policies and guidelines. This hourly position offers a pay range of $30.00-$40.00 based on EMS teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Massachusetts EMT or Paramedic certifications
- Must be certified and in good standing with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Service
- Valid driver's license
- State and Nationally certified as and EMT, AEMT or Paramedic
Desired Qualifications
- Massachusetts EMT Instructor/Coordinator License
- Experience as an EMS Educator, FTO, or other relevant EMS experience
- Experience with EMS education standards or approved Instructor for, CPR, PHTLS, AMLS
