Job Summary
CMT Technician/ICC Inspector role focusing on field testing and inspections within West Texas projects. Responsibilities include performing soil and HMA density testing with a nuclear gauge, in-place concrete testing, daily reporting, equipment transport, and collaboration with project teams. Role requires travel to multiple West Texas construction sites (occasional overnight/weekend work) and adherence to radiation safety/HAZMAT procedures. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2+ years of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience
- Experience performing soil density testing using a nuclear density gauge
- Completion of Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training and HAZMAT certification
- Experience performing concrete testing
- Ability to lift and transport testing equipment
- Ability to submit daily summary reports and supporting data electronically
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
- TXAPA, NICET, or ICC Certifications (Reinforced Concrete & Soils) a Plus
- OSHA 10 HR - A Plus
- Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
