Job Summary
CMT Project Manager 2 leads construction materials testing and field services in Lakewood, CO, directing field teams, managing project delivery, coordinating with clients, and ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards. Responsibilities include leading and supporting field staff, guiding scheduling and performance oversight, managing project execution (scope, staffing, client coordination, issue resolution), reviewing testing reports for compliance, overseeing proposals, billing, and financial tracking, partnering with clients to understand needs and provide updates, and championing safety through PPE adherence and Atlas safety programs. Requirements include 5+ years in construction/materials testing/geotechnical, experience leading teams in field or lab settings, strong knowledge of testing processes and standards (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, CDOT), ability to read technical documents and drawings, excellent organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical or related discipline (not required) and PE license or licensure progression. Required Qualifications
