Job Summary
Conduct ongoing engineering services for materials testing projects across Ohio sites, including consulting with internal and external parties on material-related issues. Provide direction, leadership, and mentoring to field staff regarding project requirements and recommend solutions consistent with project documents and Quality System manuals. Assist clients in anticipating and resolving issues while maintaining standards to minimize schedule and cost impacts. Perform written advice, material suitability analysis, and data evaluation under the supervision of a Professional Engineer where necessary. Some travel may be required. This Associate-level full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35.00-$40.00 and includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional relevant experience
- experience working on materials testing projects
- A valid driver's license
- Effective written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- results oriented
- able to complete tasks on deadline with little supervision
- able to make good decisions using sound, professional judgment
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering or related field
- P.E.
- Knowledge of materials, approved methods, and equipment used in physical testing of construction materials
