Job Summary
CMT Field Technician ready to perform field sampling, testing, reporting, and client coordination; will drive to job sites, collect samples, perform QA tests, prepare daily reports, and interact with clients, contractors, and other engineering professionals. Must have ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I and SB102, 1A and 1B certifications. 0-5 years in construction; knowledge of asphalt pavements; TXDOT testing procedures; proficiency with Site Manager and Metafield a plus; willing to move from field testing to lab duties; travel up to 20% and potential 60-hour weeks.
Required Qualifications
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I
- SB102
- 1A and 1B certifications
- 0-5 years of experience in construction
- Knowledge of TXDOT testing procedures relating to asphalt materials
- Proficiency in preparing and documenting test results in accordance with TXDOT standards and project requirements
- Ability to travel 20% of the time and work up to 60 hours per week
- Willing to transition from field testing to laboratory test responsibilities
