Job Summary
Pass medications and provide treatments under direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, adhering to physician orders and facility policy. Report resident condition changes immediately, review Tenant Service Plans and Staff Communication logs daily, and provide personal services as assigned. Respond to emergency call system alerts, monitor health status changes, and assist with medications, treatments, dining, housekeeping, and social activities. Maintain infection control standards and document all changes per established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT)
- Completed an approved training program
- Passed competency examinations in clinical skills
- Passed written knowledge examinations
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
