CMS / Technical Lead — Forge & OpenText Migration (credit unions)

Job Summary
Lead technical discovery and inventory of the existing Central1 Forge/OpenText environment, including CMS components, templates, integrations, and APIs. Define target-state architecture and migration strategy for moving the credit union public website to a new CMS platform, assessing fit across AEM, Sitecore, or headless options. Design content models, integration patterns, and API requirements while coordinating with banking systems, CRM, and marketing automation tools. Address security, privacy, and deployment constraints, then provide technical leadership to front-end, back-end, and DevOps teams through code reviews and cutover execution. Contribute reusable migration playbooks to AEQ's broader Forge offering.
Required Qualifications
- deep enterprise CMS experience
- 10+ years in CMS architecture, web engineering, or solution architecture
- Significant experience with enterprise CMS migrations
- Strong experience with at least one modern enterprise CMS platform
- Experience with headless/hybrid CMS architecture
- Strong API/integration architecture experience
- Understanding of Azure/AWS/cloud infrastructure and CI/CD
- Strong security and identity fundamentals
- Experience in banking, credit unions, or regulated industries
Desired Qualifications
- direct OpenText migration experience
- OpenText TeamSite / Web Experience Management / related OpenText CMS experience
- Experience with Central1 Forge Digital Banking Experience, and particularly their public website solution
- Lead backend engineering for public websites for financial institutions (credit unions, in particular)
- Comfortable leading technical workshops with architects, CIO/CTO teams, and vendors
