Job Summary
Material Handler supporting on-site material handling, inventory processes, and internal customer service at a customer site in Huntsville, AL. Key duties include scanning, storing, organizing, and distributing materials; reviewing orders or work requests to identify items to move; transporting materials from receiving/production to storage or work areas; sorting materials by FIFO; communicating via email and Teams; running reports and performing inventory scans; breaking down pallets and delivering materials to proper locations; operation of a stand-up forklift as needed; flexible hours with overtime/weekend potential. Candidates should have basic English proficiency, be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs, and be prepared for background checks; aerospace experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred; forklift certification may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand English
- Prior material handling experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are highly preferred
- Aerospace industry experience is a plus
- Ability to obtain PPG forklift certification
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
- Must pass a federal and state criminal background check including MVR (motor vehicle record) prior to employment
