Job Summary
Join a leading manufacturing company as a CMM/Welding Inspector focusing on welding inspection and portable CMM programming. Responsible for creating AS9102 Inspection reports, conducting First Article Inspections, and operating inspection equipment like Faro Arm. Requires an associate's degree or equivalent and three years of mechanical inspection experience.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of progressive experience in mechanical inspections and calibration.
- Good communication skills to interface with all levels of employees.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications, perform mathematical computations.
- Good computer skills; experience in Systems Application Products (SAP) is desirable.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment, including extended hours as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating Faro Arm and Laser Tracking inspection equipment
- Ability to interpret complex information and respond to a variety of complex issues
- Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001, DOE quality assurance program requirements.
