Job Summary
CMM Programmer (Starlink) on 2nd shift responsible for precision inspection using CMM and surface plate, GD&T interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve part inspection processes. Tasks include maintaining and verifying CMM programs, inspecting first article and in-process parts, creating inspection plans with engineering, selecting appropriate gauges, and contributing to process improvements. Requires GD&T proficiency, ISO 9001 awareness, CMM setup experience (including Romer Arm), and the ability to operate in a cleanroom environment with PPE. Shift is 2nd shift (3:00PM–1:30AM PT) in Redmond, WA with SpaceX; compensation ranges by level and may include long-term incentives and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of CMM programming experience
- Ability to read and understand GD&T and all drawing criteria, notes and tolerances
- Experience with setup of CMM and Romer Arm (or other portable non-DCC arm)
- Willing to work 3:00PM to 1:30AM PT shift
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with PPE (bunny suit, hair net, beard net)

- U.S. citizen or national, or lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR)
