Job Summary
Create CMM programs and operate precision measurement equipment to verify products meet engineering tolerances and customer requirements. Set up and test machines using 3D models and 2D drawings, analyze dimensional results, and generate non-conformance reports for first article inspections. Support AS9100 audits, conduct root cause investigations, and mentor quality inspectors while maintaining equipment and documentation. Provide technical assistance to production teams and communicate with external customers as a point of contact.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- At least 8 years of previous experience in CMM programming and operation
- Experience in Aerospace and Commercial Manufacturing
- Equivalent combination of experience and education
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time
- A valid state driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
- A background check and E-Verify will be conducted
Desired Qualifications
- A valid state driver's license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act
