Job Summary

Support outgoing quality inspection requirements by collecting data from checking fixtures and inspecting close tolerance parts using CMM programs and precision measuring equipment. Develop CMM programs for completed assemblies and component parts from blueprints, CAD models, and operation sheets, while assisting in gauge studies and supporting 1st piece buy-off inspections. Identify potential causes for process variation, review incoming supplier documentation, and generate non-conforming material reports. Calibrate shop and personal tools and proactively support ISO process approach and continuous improvement activities. Requires 3+ years of CMM programming experience using PCDMIS or CAMEO software, with a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Associate's in Engineering preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate's in Engineering or related field
  • Effectively communicate via verbal, handwritten and electronic documents
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to create documents, reports and briefing materials in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects
  • Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload
  • Conceptual Skills, Verbal Communication, Attention to Detail, Judgment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement
  • 3+ years of CMM programming experience using PCDMIS or CAMEO software in a high-speed machining environment
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must comply with EAR regulations and site SSA requirements
