CMM Programmer Inspector

Job Summary
Quality Assurance Inspector/CMM responsible for receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections to ensure aerospace materials, components, subassemblies, and finished products meet AS9100, engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Performs inspection using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, plug and thread gauges, optical comparator, radius gauges, hardness testers, and CMM (Hexagon, PC-DMIS). Maintains FAIRs and material certifications, supports root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and internal/customer/regulatory audits. Requires interpretation of GD&T and AS9100 compliance; strong documentation and quality-record-keeping.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred; five years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, precision machining, or related manufacturing environments
- Experience with CMM equipment and PC-DMIS software (preferred)
- Strong GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5
- Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management system requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish beneficial but not required
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred (not required)
