CMM Programmer

Job Summary
Maintain product quality and integrity by managing the gage certification database, preparing certification procedures, and certifying gages. Operate the CMM, optical comparator, and other measurement equipment while writing CMM programs per GD&T print requirements using PCDMIS. Perform free-state CMM studies on sunroofs and components, assist in troubleshooting gages and frame cells, and conduct gage and equipment layouts. Report on equipment needing modification and present study results to Inalfa and customer representatives. Support TS 16949 status through timely certifications and promote safe work practices within the plant.
Required Qualifications
- 5 year experience programming and running a CMM machine
- 5 years experience in automotive quality
- Expert level at GD&T and print reading
- Ability to effectively use Excel, Word, Gagetrack
- Experience in gage building and tool building
- Adhere to all TS 16949 procedures as related to the Quality department function
