CMM Inspector

Job Summary
Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality and specification compliance using calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, and CMM equipment. Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols to verify products meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Identify, document, and report non-conforming products while completing inspection reports and quality documentation. Assist with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and follow established safety procedures. This role supports manufacturing operations in Pennsylvania for Cannonball Recruiting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete quality documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and identify potential quality issues

Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification
- 1–3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience
- Experience using precision inspection and measuring equipment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
- Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Experience with CMM inspection equipment
- Manufacturing or machining environment experience
