CMF Design Intern

Job Summary
CMF Design Intern contributes to trend research, CMF concept building, proposal development, and strong visual communication. You will move CMF concepts from early mood boards into samples/prototypes and review-ready deliverables, working closely with CMF designers, exterior/interior designers, CAS, modeling, and engineering partners across the studio. You will research automotive, product, and lifestyle color/material/finish trends to provide insights and strategic support for CMF direction, create mood boards, trend boards, CMF stories, and color & trim proposals with clear narratives and visuals, support CMF concepts into material selection and texture/gloss definition, and assist with sample/color chip management. You will collaborate with design, engineering, and supplier/process partners to support sample reviews, design reviews, presentations, and day-to-day project execution, and gain experience in a global automotive OEM environment following high-standard design processes and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Student currently pursuing a degree in industrial design, product design, transportation design, materials/textiles, visual design, or related fields.
