Job Summary
Operate up to 7 molding machines, adding compound and removing excess flash from caps while inspecting for defects like blisters and cracks. Record hourly quality shots, prepare production reports, and log labor entries in SAP. Sweep the department floor to remove flash and caps, add powder to barrels as needed, and weigh barrels for the washer. Turn off powder via HMI control screen when quality issues arise and clean inside the cage after machine approval. Take quality shots every hour and record results on appropriate paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- Drug Free environment & Drug Testing is a requirement for employment
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Goggles and Hearing Protection
- Vision (Near, Depth), Color Discrimination
- Sense of touch
- Ability to lift 11-20 lbs
- Ability to stand 33% - 66% of the time
- Ability to walk 33% - 66% of the time
- Ability to manually manipulate 11-20 lbs
- Ability to push/pull 12 lbs or less
