CMC Manufacturing and Reliability Engineer

Job Summary
Lead and sustain mechanical integrity (MI) and process reliability (PR) programs at the Indianapolis site and other OSHA PSM-regulated locations. Directly oversee MI/PR elements including design, construction, QA of process equipment, and compliance auditing. Drive PHAs, LOPA and other process-safety modeling; develop preventative maintenance for safety-critical and non-safety-critical equipment; ensure PSVs and other Critical Safety Devices meet PSM requirements. Collaborate with SMEs to update drawings, inspect/repair plans, and lifecycle calculations; manage MOC-driven drawing/document updates; align with API/ASME/NFPA/NBIC standards; pursue asset-management framework development and cross-site knowledge sharing. Travel ~20% and occasional overtime required. Position requires onsite work in Indianapolis, IN; relocation is available.
Required Qualifications
- AAS degree plus 7+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years OR Master's degree plus 3+ years OR Ph.D. plus relevant experience
- Proficiency with API, ASME, NFPA, NBIC codes and RAGAGEPs
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910.119 PSM elements (preferred) and P&ID standards
- Experience in mechanical integrity and process reliability programs, inspection/maintenance planning, and lifecycle asset management
- Ability to develop inspection plans, life-cycle calculations, and scheduling based on equipment condition
- Experience with CMMS (Maximo) and common engineering software; strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel up to ~20%
