Job Summary
Intern will design and implement a centralized inventory tracker that consolidates DS, DP, cell line, and clinical inventories into a single source of truth. Responsibilities include inventory mapping and data consolidation across cell banks, DS/DP batches, and clinical supplies; tracker development with standardized fields and version control; data entry and reconciliation; documenting tracker structure and definitions; proposing processes for ongoing inventory updates; and production planning by exporting data from planning tools (N-Side Lighthouse) into Excel to create charts. Requires enrollment in or recent graduation from a Life Sciences/related program and strong Excel/data skills. The role is a 6–8 week hybrid internship with flexibility to work remotely and from Disc Medicine's Watertown, MA headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic data analysis)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
