Job Summary
Certified Medication Assistant II (CMA II) for PRN on-call shifts at Good Samaritan facility in Mexico, MO. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse, administers prescribed medications, assists with activities of daily living, records vital signs, documents care and outcomes, communicates changes to the charge nurse, assists with transfers, supports wellness/recreational programs, and contributes to care planning. Requires CMA certification/licensure per state requirements; wage starts at $22+/hour depending on experience; 12-hour shifts; on-call scheduling available; facility notes include benefits and drug-free workplace policy.
Required Qualifications
- CMA II license required at time of hire
- CNA certification as applicable by state
- state-specific CMA/CNA certification requirements (Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota) or ability to obtain within 120 days
- Active CNA registration or ability to obtain within 120 days
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 12 hours continuing education annually
- Driver's license and auto insurance (when applicable)
