Job Summary
Certified Medication Assistant II (CMA II) for a not-for-profit senior housing and services organization. PRN/on-call role with 12-hour shifts; administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, document care outcomes, and provide resident-centered nursing and daily living assistance under supervision. Responsibilities include basic health care tasks (vital signs, transfers, range of motion, assistance with meals and dining), support with wellness and recreational activities, and participation in department/organization committees as needed. Requires CMA II license at time of hire; state-specific CNA/CMA certifications and ongoing competency/continuing education requirements. Wage starts at $22+/hour depending on experience; benefits package available for qualifying employees; drug screen and background check required. On-site location: Forest River, North Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- CMA II license required at time of hire
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by state (as applicable)
- Minimum age 18 preferred
- State-specific competency testing and continuing education requirements
- Active state certification/registration for CMA or TMA as applicable in IA, MN, ND, SD
- Successful completion of state-approved CMA/TMA course where applicable
- Driver's license and auto insurance may be required where applicable
