Job Summary
RN/CMA/LPN/AEMT/Paramedic needed for Family Medicine in Wilmington, NC. Responsibilities include delivering quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation); telephone triage; scheduling and coordinating appointments across office, outpatient procedures, and hospitals; supervising LPNs and MAs; performing specialty procedures as trained (IV therapy, injections, chemotherapy education, bone marrow biopsies, EKG, port access) and assisting MDs during visits; documenting thoroughly; developing patient education materials, triage protocols, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with physicians; and utilizing computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- North Carolina or Compact RN license
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- BLS/CPR Certified
- One year clinical nursing experience (preferred)
