Job Summary
Conduct routine administrative and patient care support duties to assist medical staff in examinations and ensure office operations run smoothly. Room patients, collect pertinent history and medication reconciliation, and complete telephone communications with patients and healthcare facilities. Perform administrative tasks including check-in/out, scheduling, prior authorizations, and diagnostic testing coordination. Administer medications, retrieve patient education materials, and conduct point-of-care testing such as bio-impedance and bone marrow biopsy slide preparation. Transport patients to emergency departments or hospital units and deliver supplies to the Central Processing Department.

- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AMT) - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (ARMA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
