Job Summary
Escort patients to and from exam rooms, offices, and treatment rooms while maintaining patient flow and accurately recording patient data. Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, obtain blood specimens from peripheral sites, and submit patient prescriptions. Request and evaluate lab tests, then schedule tests, procedures, hospital admissions, and appointments. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all organizational policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from a recognized certified and/or registered medical assistant program or an approved school of nursing
- Certificate as a certified or registered medical assistant or licensed in the state of employment
