Job Summary
Experienced CMA | RMA | LPN | EMT needed for a full-time role in Middle Creek Family Practice (a division of Summit Medical Group). Responsibilities include escorting patients to exam rooms, recording vital signs, performing procedures (phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors), assisting physicians with procedures and patient education, triage and telephone nursing, coordinating care (pre-certifications, referrals, prescriptions), clerical duties, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining clean exam rooms. Adherence to OSHA and HIPAA, site protocols, and professional conduct with staff and patients. Requires graduation from an accredited program and current licensure/certification as TN RN, Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting, or EMT.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program in practical nursing, medical assisting or EMT
- Current TN RN license, Practical Nursing License, Nationally Certified in Medical Assisting Required or Certified EMT
