Job Summary
Provide care to residents by preparing and administering medications as ordered by physicians, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Ensure a clean and safe environment while communicating effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety protocols, maintaining documentation of care provided and changes in residents’ conditions. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential, along with the ability to lift weights up to 35 pounds and push wheelchairs.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Oklahoma Medication Aide certification (required)
- Current State of Oklahoma Long-Term Care Aide certification (required)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous skilled nursing experience within a long-term care (LTC), assisted living, Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), or hospital environment is preferred.
