Job Summary
Room patients, take vitals, and assist providers in the Family Practice Internal Medicine department. Enroll eligible CNAs in the Medical Assistance Apprenticeship Program offered through BGH. Requires current BLS certification and AAMA certificate or registry. CMA candidates need one year of outpatient experience; CNAs need one year in a clinic/hospital or three in long-term care. Work days only, no weekends, in a part-time flex schedule of 64-80 hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program
- Graduate of accredited CNA Program
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- AAMA certificate or registry
Desired Qualifications
- CMA: Minimum one (1) year experience in outpatient office setting
