Job Summary
Provide support at Monte Vista Clinic as a full-time Certified Medical Assistant or candidate pursuing certification. Responsibilities include clerical duties (answering phones, greeting patients), updating and maintaining patient files and medical records, scheduling appointments, taking vitals, explaining treatment procedures, collecting and preparing lab specimens, authorizing or refilling prescriptions with pharmacies, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean clinical space. Requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program within 12 months of hire, BLS certification, and familiarity with medical terminology; prior medical reception/clinical experience and excellent customer service are preferred.
Required Qualifications

- BLS required

- Certification as Medical Assistant or active pursuit of Medical Assistant certification
