Job Summary
Medication Technicians / CMAs administer medications in a senior living community following physician orders, state regulations, and community policy. Responsibilities include ensuring the Six Rights of medication administration with proper documentation, monitoring residents for medication effectiveness and side effects, reporting changes to nursing leadership, maintaining accurate medication records and controlled substance counts, and assisting residents with activities of daily living while upholding infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements. Must have active CMA/Med Tech certification and high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; healthcare experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred
