Job Summary
Obtain vital signs, triage patients over the phone, and register new patients while maintaining accurate demographic and insurance information. Maintain up-to-date patient health records, pain assessments, and medication sheets, ensuring documentation is complete, concise, and correct. Navigate the EMR system efficiently to enter data, verify insurance eligibility, and track labs and tests for outcomes and follow-up. Assist providers with communicating regarding swabs or blood work, teach patients according to provider instructions, and promote E-Check-in usage. Monitor digital platforms such as FirstHealth-On-the-Go and Observation at Home, ensuring continuity of care through appropriate actions and prompt follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid NC LPN License or CMA Certification
- Minimum one year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred, but not required, Family Medicine work experience
