Job Summary
Accurately perform and document assigned clinical duties under physician direction while providing direct patient care and supporting clinic operations. Initiate implementation of office processes and manage access to operational components including the physician's office, medical records, and locked storage areas for supplies and medications. Maintain CPR certification and, if hired as a CMA, obtain certification within 12 months of hire. This role offers a sign-on bonus and requires full-time hours with no holidays or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certified
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Virginia
Desired Qualifications
- Will consider a non-certified Medical Assistant, but Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the State of Virginia preferred
- Will require obtaining CMA within 12 months of hire
- Previous physician office experience preferred
