Job Summary
RN coordinates nursing care across the continuum, including direct patient care and patient/family education, within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients; providing leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement initiatives; mentoring and teaching others; and may involve driving a personal vehicle as part of job duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements
- BLS competency in applicable states
- Experience requirements: 1 year RN or 1 year LPN preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours (days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends) and on-call
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
- Additional state licensure or specialty certification as required by work area
- TN sponsorship eligibility
