Job Summary
Obtain vital signs, maintain patient health records, and triage patients while entering accurate data into the EMR. Prepare and maintain exam rooms, administer prescribed medications as directed, and collect laboratory specimens for testing. Assist providers with examinations, manage appointment schedules, and greet visitors in a courteous manner. Ensure all equipment is properly set up, follow OSHA regulations and infection control measures, and dispose of sharps correctly. Communicate patient information to providers, document orders to capture charges, and identify barriers related to social determinants of health. Must have active CMA/RMA certification, LPN license, or NC Paramedic certification. Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in Convenient Care, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, or Family Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Active CMA certification from a national accredited organization
- Active RMA certification from a national accredited organization
- Active LPN license
- Active NC Paramedic license
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of clinical experience in Convenient Care
- At least one year of clinical experience in Urgent Care
- At least one year of clinical experience in Occupational Health
- At least one year of clinical experience in Family Medicine
