Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / LPN for Cardiac at ThedaCare in Appleton, WI. Under physician or APN supervision, provides patient-centered, evidence-based care across the continuum within a team-based approach. Responsibilities include receiving and executing orders, rooming patients, recording vital signs and pertinent health information, validating medication reconciliation, preparing patients for exam, documenting complex information in the electronic health record during visits, aiding in tests and procedures, discharging patients with after-visit summaries, and assisting with medication, laboratory, and radiology orders. Demonstrates professional, therapeutic relationships with patients, families, team members, and providers; participates in patient panel management; supports health screening, preventive services, and chronic disease tracking; and reinforces patient education to improve outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS include licensure or certification as CMA/LPN per specified credentials, BLS, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with no weekends or holidays. Location: ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton, WI.
