Job Summary
Provide patient care in a cardiology practice setting; assist with exams/procedures, manage clerical tasks, collect patient data, perform EKGs, venipuncture, administer medications and immunizations under physician direction, prepare/sterilize rooms and supplies, and educate patients. Supports Level I Medical Assistants with mentoring; emphasizes infection control, EMR documentation, and compassionate patient interactions. Requires 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications (HEARTSAVER, NCCT Medical Assistant preferred) with strong communication and teamwork skills.
