Job Summary
A CMA is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The role ensures timely and accurate medication administration (med pass) to maintain high-quality resident care, follows charting guidelines for PRN documentation, reports medication reorder, and communicates changes in patient condition to the Patient Care Supervisor. Responsibilities include inventory documentation of drugs, participating in meetings, trainings, and in-service activities, and maintaining compliance with medication administration as part of a skilled nursing team.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification for Medication Aide
- Ability to communicate effectively in English through speech and writing
- Previous patient care experience preferred
