Job Summary
Provide and document medication administration for residents in a skilled nursing facility, monitor residents’ health including vital signs, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies, maintain a clean and organized medication area, communicate observations and changes to nursing staff and residents’ families, and collaborate with the healthcare team using electronic health records to support safe, compassionate resident care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CMA certification (Oklahoma)
- Ability to administer prescribed medications and document accurately
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed
- Understanding of infection control procedures and safety protocols
