Job Summary
Pass medications and provide treatments according to physician's orders under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse. Report changes in resident condition immediately, review Tenant Service Plans and Staff Communication logs daily, and provide personal services as assigned. Respond to emergency calls and maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with housekeeping and dining room duties. Monitor resident needs, participate in social activities, and follow infection control procedures. Full-time or part-time shifts available in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT)
- Completed an approved training program
- Passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
- Knowledge of and ability to follow infection control procedures
